About Us

Byrom Elementary will be hosting our 20th annual school auction on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Stickmen Brewing Company in Tualatin from 5:30pm-9:30pm.  This year's auction will have a casual atmosphere.  Attending the auction is a great way to support our students and programs offered through PSO funding.  We will have a silent and a live auction, with some auction items starting at $5.  Your ticket price includes a meal item, one drink ticket (up to a $7 value), and a dessert from our dessert table. 

Unlike other elementary schools in our district, Byrom Elementary receives no extra federal funding. Other than the funding from the district foundation, our school is supported by donations and fundraising through the Parent School Organization (PSO).

The auction is our largest fundraiser of the year. All proceeds from the auction go directly to the students of Byrom. With this, we fund academic and extra-curricular school programs, teaching assistants, art literacy, classroom supplies, our garden, off site learning experiences and school equipment and technology.  We installed a beautiful new playground this year and are still raising money.  We need all of your support to fund these wonderful programs or next year we will need to reduce funding to the above programs.  Help us keep these fantastic programs/events alive!
